Born in Poland, Celina studied at “Opus-Art” in Sosnowiec and the Art Institute at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn where she specialized in printmaking and stained glass. In 2001 she moved to Germany to work at Derix, one of the most renowned glass studios in Europe. Celina has extensive experience in both traditional and contemporary glass processing techniques which she draws upon in her own art.
In her own art, Celina incorporates her professional experience. For several years now she has been experimenting with combining screen printing, painting and glass fusing. Using it as a surface for drawing, painting, photography and graphic design and experimenting with how it interacts with light is a passion of hers.
Recently the incorporation of coldworking has become increasingly important in her work as she focused more on glass jewelry.
